Friends can be great to talk to, but sometimes an adult is better able to give you real help.
It’s important to develop a network of trusted adults - people you can turn to for help and advice
Think of five people you know who could form part of your support network, such as a parent, older brother/sister, other relatives, teacher, neighbour, pastor, youth leader, family friend. Write their names in the order of first choice.
Would you change the order around if you needed support for different kinds of problems? Which person in your network would you go to first for a personal problem...for a school problem...for a relationship problem...?
Write out your network in the order you would use it for the following situations.
